About

Meet Marina

With more than 20 years of experience across health and wellness, Marina McCoy brings a broad understanding of wellbeing, personal care and behaviour change to her coaching work.

Her background includes education and experience across Nursing, Pharmacy, Esthetics and Coaching, giving her insight into several areas that influence how people feel, live and care for themselves.

Marina is a Certified Life Coach and works with clients who want practical support, clearer direction and realistic ways to make changes that can become part of everyday life.

Her approach is personal and straightforward. There are no rigid programmes and no expectation that someone should completely change their life overnight.

Instead, Marina works with each person to understand what they would like to improve, what may be getting in the way and which changes are realistic for their circumstances.

Many of her clients value having someone who can listen, offer perspective, provide structure and help them stay accountable while they work towards their goals.

Coaching services

How Marina Can Support You

Coaching can mean different things to different people. Some clients want help creating healthier routines. Others may be trying to improve their organisation, confidence, relationship with food or ability to balance work and personal life.

Marina’s coaching is shaped around the individual rather than a fixed programme.

01

Dietary and Lifestyle Habit Coaching

Improving your relationship with food does not have to mean following a strict diet. Marina can help you look at your current routines, habits and everyday choices and identify changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

The focus is on building better habits over time rather than short term restrictions.

Areas may include:

  • Everyday eating habits
  • Lifestyle routines
  • Consistency
  • Planning
  • Motivation
  • Developing a healthier relationship with food

02

Incorporating Physical Activity

Being more active should not feel like another source of pressure. Marina helps clients find realistic ways to include movement and physical activity in everyday life.

The aim is to create a routine that can be maintained over time rather than pushing too hard and stopping after a few weeks.

Support may include:

  • Building consistency
  • Finding realistic activities
  • Creating routines
  • Maintaining motivation
  • Balancing activity with work and family responsibilities

03

Lifestyle Support for Chronic Health Conditions

When a doctor recommends lifestyle changes, putting those recommendations into practice can sometimes be difficult. Marina can support clients with the everyday side of those changes, including habits, routines, organisation, motivation and consistency.

Her role is not to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Instead, she can help clients work towards lifestyle changes that have already been recommended by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Marina’s coaching does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Clients with medical conditions should continue to follow the guidance of their doctor or qualified healthcare professional.

04

Stress and Life Balance

Busy schedules, work, family responsibilities and everyday demands can gradually become difficult to manage. Marina helps clients look at where their time and energy are going and find practical ways to create more balance.

This may include:

  • Identifying sources of everyday pressure
  • Creating healthier routines
  • Setting boundaries
  • Finding time for rest and personal wellbeing
  • Improving balance between work and personal life

05

Time Management and Personal Organisation

Sometimes the issue is not lack of motivation. There may simply be too much happening at once. Marina can help clients organise their priorities, create clearer routines and develop practical ways to manage responsibilities without feeling constantly overwhelmed.

Support may include:

  • Prioritisation
  • Planning
  • Personal organisation
  • Creating routines
  • Accountability
  • Breaking larger goals into manageable actions

06

Mental Wellness Coaching

Marina’s coaching focuses on the present and the future. She helps clients look at where they are now, where they would like to go and what practical changes may help them move forward.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Goal setting
  • Motivation
  • Behaviour change
  • Confidence
  • Personal development
  • Accountability
  • Creating healthier routines

Life coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling or psychiatric care. Marina does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Anyone experiencing significant mental health concerns should seek support from an appropriately licensed professional.

07

Beauty and Confidence Coaching

Personal care can influence how we feel about ourselves, but beauty coaching is about more than appearance. Drawing on her background in Esthetics and wellness, Marina helps clients develop personal care routines that fit their lifestyle and help them feel more comfortable and confident in themselves.

Support may include:

  • Personal beauty routines
  • Self care habits
  • Personal presentation
  • Confidence
  • Creating realistic beauty and wellness routines
  • Connecting personal care with wider wellbeing goals

How it works

A Practical Approach to Coaching

Marina does not believe in forcing people into a fixed system. Coaching works best when the plan fits the person.

01

Understand

Every client starts from a different place. The first step is understanding what you want to change, why it matters to you and what may currently be making it difficult.

02

Create

Together, you can identify realistic actions that fit your lifestyle, responsibilities and priorities. The goal is progress that feels manageable.

03

Support

Change is easier when you do not have to work through everything alone. Marina provides ongoing support, perspective and accountability as you work towards your goals.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A few practical answers before you book a conversation.

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a practical form of support focused on goals, habits, behaviour, motivation and personal development. It is generally centred on the present and future rather than diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching and therapy have different purposes. Coaching generally focuses on goals, behaviour, motivation and future direction. Therapy is delivered by appropriately qualified mental health professionals and may involve the assessment or treatment of mental health conditions. If you are unsure which type of support is right for you, Better Mind Daily also provides information about the differences between therapy and life coaching.

Can Marina help me manage a medical condition?

Marina does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If your doctor or healthcare professional has recommended lifestyle changes, Marina may be able to support you with the practical side of implementing those recommendations, such as routines, habits, planning and consistency. You should always continue to follow medical advice provided by your healthcare team.

Can Marina give me a meal plan?

Marina’s coaching focuses on habits, routines and lifestyle support. She does not provide clinical nutrition treatment. Clients who require a medical or therapeutic nutrition plan should work with an appropriately qualified dietitian or healthcare professional.

Do I need to live in the United States to work with Marina?

Marina may work with clients remotely depending on availability and the type of support required. Use the booking form to arrange an initial conversation and discuss whether her coaching is suitable for your situation and location.
